Conduct occupational therapy assessments with clients, serving students in elementary, middle and high school settings who meet medical necessity criteria. Develop client-centered and strengths-based treatment goals. Participate in plan of care meetings with client, family and wrap-around service providers. Identify community resources and facilitate community linkages for youth clients. Provide consultation to families and comm unity partners to increase generalization of therapeutic strategies for increased success across educational, vocational, and social contexts. Complete documentation and billing in a timely fashion according to CBHS standards and oversee and maintain organized working files on all assigned clients.
The position requires a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
Special skills or other requirements:
• Eligible for California Board of Occupational Therapy License
• Background check and TB clearance (every 4 years).
